GPAN STATEMENT ON THE SACKING OF AU AMBASSADOR TO US DR ARIKANA CHIHOMBORI

RE: GPAN Statement On Sacking of AU Ambassador to United States Dr Arikana Chihombori.

Global Pan Africanism Network strongly condemns the sacking of AU Ambassador to the United States for fearlessly standing for Africa and being very vocal in speaking against France exploitation and colonization of Africa.

It came as a shocking surprise because Her Excellency Dr Arikana had demonstrated extreme devotion to Africa and has been a symbol of inspiration to Pan Africanists around the world.
She has been very instrumental in promoting reunification of all people of African descent and in many occasions renewed calls for African unity.
As a Pan African organization we find this decision cowardly and not in the national interests of Africa but rather seeks to exalt the same people exploiting Africa at the expense of destroying the reputation of AU as a respected Pan African organization. GPAN will not be involved in any activities organized by African Union until Dr. Arikana is reinstated.
We will independently continue pursuing the vision for a Unified African nation without any partnerships with AU.
We demand that the AU Chairman H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat immediately reinstates Dr Arikana Chihombori and apologizes for obstructing and frustrating Pan Africanism.
Regards,

Daniel Mwambonu

The President,
Global Pan Africanism Network
