The United States of Africa is increasingly worried about deteriorating situation in West Papua and condemns the constant harassment ,torture,arbitrary arrests and mass displacement of civilians in the island of New Guinea. Thousands of women and children now living in the forests to escape Indonesian military brutality and well organized silent genocide fuelled by Indonesian colonial desire to profit from vast Indigenous people’s natural wealth.
Indonesia has deployed thousands of military forces in West Papua in a desperate attempt to enforce failed autonomy set to expire in 2021.
There have been resounding calls for Independence among the Indigenous people in West Papua and this is unalienable right that no state has a right to deny them.
United States of Africa demands that Indonesia respects human rights,ceases all forms of intimidations,torture,arbitrary arrests and harassment of Human rights Activists or civilians.
