History has shown that every successful nation was built through its natural resources.
Even the paper money that France ,Europe and United States gives Africa in form of ”foreign aid” is of no value unless backed African gold and diamond that they have continuously exploited even in Post Independent Africa.
Its foolish to come with this ridiculous assumptions that natural resources Africa has do not count or matter.
Slavery and colonialism was about extraction of Africa’s natural wealth to this day their mission remains the same.
Africa has lost nearly $89bn a year in illicit financial flows such as tax evasion and theft, amounting to more than it receives in development aid, a United Nations study has showed and this wealth comes from our minerals.

Europe was built through stealing African gold, copper, Ivory, diamonds, silver, iron cotton, oil and gas but today African leaders have failed to utilize these natural resources to empower young people own this huge wealth that Africa is endowed with.
If it was true what he said then France and Europe will import as many young people as possible from Africa since they are ”the greatest assets ” but instead Europe has tightened its migration laws to prevent young people from Africa from sneaking into their countries.

Young people in Kenya have become hustlers after graduating while a few individuals profit from foreign deals that give away the natural resources instead of empowering locals to take full ownership of these discoveries and benefit from natural resources the government forcefully relocates people to pave way for foreign companies to plunder our wealth.
This is why though young people make up over 70% of the population in Africa, we are powerless and this makes it a national security issue as millions of unemployed young people means more criminal activities.
Youths in Africa have ended up joining terrorist groups because of economic opportunities they were offered.
Having labour without natural resources doesn’t make a nation great.
African Leaders are being indoctrinated into embracing false ideologies that our natural resources do not matter or count.
While I agree with him that young people are great assets that Africa has ,for them to reach their full potential they must take the lead in Land Ownership and exploiting the natural resources that Africa has to offer.
Having many unemployed young people without access to natural resources and wealth to ensure that they reach their full potential is the reason for the underdevelopment of Africa.

Kenyan President reiterated that “Africa’s biggest asset is the potential held by its youthful population and not its natural resources.”
But these are not facts on the ground.
The scramble for Africa has always been about plundering our oil, gold, diamonds ,gas, copper and cobalt because Europeans know that these are the most valuable assets or raw materials to build nations.
Through this valley of lies Europeans, Chinese and Americans have taken African Leaders many have ended up disregarding natural resources, leaving them for Europeans to scuffle over while blindfolded not to see the reality they are valuing more the loans that they are given at the detriment of the future of Africa.

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks show how successful the West manipulates and controls the minds of African Leaders into believing they don’t need their natural resources to develop.
Its this kind of attitude which makes African leaders auction oil and gas fields or diamond mines to European or Chinese companies because they think disempowered and disinherited young people are the greatest asset in Africa.
“I tell people all the time, we look at the African continent sometimes from a perspective of its natural wealth. The gold, the diamonds, the oil, the gas but what we tend not to see is what is the true African potential.

“And the true African potential is our young men and women, and their capacity to participate with you to build a greater and better world for all of us,” President Kenyatta said.

The President spoke Thursday when he delivered the key note speech at the 6th BPIfrance Inno Generation business forum at Accor Arena in Paris, France. He was the chief guest at the conference which is the largest annual congregation of French entrepreneurs and innovators.
